Cersanit CX 5 quick-setting mortar is intended for rapid deposition of metal and plastic elements in plaster, masonry or concrete. These elements can be handrails, grilles, brackets, boxes, cables, installation cabinets, etc. The gap between the embedded element and the mounting hole should not be more than 20 mm. For larger clearances, the material should be combined with sand. Mounting cement can be used both inside and outside buildings. The product also works well as a means for rounding corners and locally filling cavities. Thanks to its waterproof properties, Ceresit CX 5 can also be used to seal concrete structures and stop water seepage. For the assembly of machines and heavier constructions, however, Ceresit CX 15 mortar will be more suitable. If it is necessary to stop intense leakage, use an agent with an even faster effect - here it is recommended to use Ceresit CX 1. For surface sealing of water tanks, a waterproof CR 65 mortar is perfect or CR 166.
