  • Longitudinal edge: HRAK
  • Transverse edge: SK
  • Carton color: blue
  • Print color: red
  • Thickness: 12.5 mm
  • Universal use
  • High surface hardness
  • High point load
  • Water absorption twice lower than in the case of impregnated and gypsum fiber boards
  • Good sound insulation properties
  • incombustibility
  • Stable fastening with screws

Diamant HF13 Knauf gypsum plasterboard - Technical parameters, application and consumption:

Technical data:

  • Weight approx. 12.8 (kg / m2)
  • Density approx. 1024 (kg / m3)
  • Maximum application temperature 50 (° C)
  • Reaction to fire A2-s1, d0
  • Plate type DFH1IR
  • Vapor permeability coefficient [µ] 10
  • Thermal conductivity coefficient 0.25 (W / mK)
  • Bending strength - longitudinal direction 725 (N)
  • Bending strength - lateral direction 300 (N)

Application:

  • The plate is used as a cladding in dry building systems, which are building elements with high requirements in the field of: Fire protection (fire resistance is analogous to the fire resistance class of DF plates), Sound insulation, Resistance to mechanical loads, System rigidity (high strength caused by increased bulk density), Moisture resistance (thanks to special impregnation). This may include, for example: Rooms in Knauf Cabo rooms, Sports halls , schools, hospitals, High traffic areas (corridors, staircases), Places with increased air humidity.
  • in conditions with periodically increased air humidity (up to 85% to 10 hours a day).

Consumption / Performance:

  • No data

Method of implementation:

Cutting : Scratch the disc with a knife and then break it. Cut the cardboard on the back and cut the edges using a plasterboard planer.

Filling materials (in accordance with quality requirements): Uniflott leveling compound: For manual leveling, without using joint tape, Fugenfüller Leicht leveling compound: For manual leveling with Knauf jointing tape.

Recommendations : joints of cut, front and mixed edges (e.g. cut edge + HRAK), visible cladding layers should be filled using Knauf joint tape, regardless of the leveling compound. For span and suspended ceilings and attic buildings, use reinforcing tape on all panel joints.
End putty:

Knauf Sheetrock Super Finish leveling compound (Q3 and Q4). In the case of multilayer cladding, the joints of internal layers should be filled with Q1 quality leveling compound. This is necessary to ensure adequate fire protection parameters, static properties and sound insulation.

Temperature and processing conditions: Filling can only be carried out when there is no longer a significant change in the length of Knauf boards due to temperature or humidity changes. Do not fill with a room temperature lower than approx. 10 ° C. If self-leveling and cement screeds are used, leveling should be carried out after laying the screed.

Coatings and liners

Preparation: Before applying the coating, clean the putty surface from dust. Before proceeding with any further work, the surfaces of the panels must always be properly prepared and primed with agents selected for the paint coatings or linings. To even the absorbency of the smoothed surface, appropriate primers must be applied, e.g. Knauf Tiefengrund, Knauf Spezialgrund, Knauf Putzgrund, Knauf Universalgrund. When wallpapering, it is recommended to use a special wallpaper primer that makes it easier to tear them off later. If the lining is used in the spray water zone, it is necessary to apply sealing primer with Knauf Hydro Flex.

Suitable coatings and linings

The following linings and coatings can be applied to Knauf boards:

  • Wallpaper, paper, textile and plastic (when using methylcellulose glues)
  • Ceramic cladding
  • Thin-layer structural plasters (using a full-scale putty)
  • Paint coatings: synthetic resin dispersion paints, multi-colored paints, oil paints, paints based on alkyd and polymer resins, polyurethane paints (PUR), matte and epoxy varnishes (EP).
  • Silicate dispersion paints can be used after applying an appropriate primer layer selected for the substrate in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Do not use : alkaline coatings (e.g. limestone paints), coatings for water glass and pure-silicate, after applying paper and fiberglass wallpapers or applying plasters with synthetic and cellulose resins, it is necessary to ensure adequate ventilation.

Diamant HF13 Knauf plasterboard is the best drywall cladding. Works well in buildings and rooms with increased requirements for fire protection, sound insulation, mechanical loads, moisture resistance and system rigidity.
