Classic 039 mineral wool mats in ECOSE® Technology are general purpose materials. They are intended for use as thermal and acoustic insulation in wall constructions with ventilated façades and wooden or metal skeleton wall constructions, as well as for filling beam ceilings and pitched roof constructions. On the inside of the skeleton wall constructions, a vapor barrier should be laid to protect the partition against condensation moisture. From the outside in skeleton wall constructions or in the case of ventilated facades, it is recommended to lay wind insulation to eliminate wind blown insulation. For metal cassette walls, the metal vapor barrier fulfills the vapor barrier function. The material can also be used in horizontal constructions (e.g. thick-ribbed wooden ceilings, skeletal-beam or skeletal constructions) as thermal and acoustic insulation laid between the beams of inter-story floors.
