Primer impregnation for outdoor wood Tikkurila Valtti Guard Plus 0.9L

Description

Ready-to-use, water-based waterproofing agent for preserving and protecting outdoor wood for general use. Used for preventive protection of wood against blue stain fungi, mold fungi and basidiomycetes decomposing wood. The PT8 wood protection product has been granted permission PL / 2017/0233 / MR / SBP for placing on the market in accordance with the provisions of the Biocidal Products Regulation 528/2012 and the Biocidal Products Act in Poland.

Examples of use

For the protection and priming of sawn and planed wood, wooden logs, wood after heat treatment in 2nd and 3rd class of use, i.e. for wooden elements outside, not in contact with the ground or sea water. It can be used for wooden elements such as fences, eaves, sheds, facades, cladding, wooden beams, windows, external doors. In rooms protected with wood, the product can only be used for window frames and external doors. The product is suitable for all external wooden constructions to which impregnation, varnish, paint will be applied. Wood can be subject to frequent or periodic moistening. Do not use as oil impregnant. Do not use for wood that has direct contact with food, drink and feed. Impregnation is used to protect and prime wood and wooden structures before applying the topcoat. Use the product only as a preservative as described in the product's technical data sheet and on the label. Wood preservatives should be used with caution. Always read the label and product information before using it. Planned topcoats are recommended to be applied as soon as possible because the colorless impregnation does not protect the wood surface from the adverse effects of sunlight. If delays in painting the surface occur, it may be necessary to re-protect the wood with Tikkurila Valtti Guard Plus. The product is recommended as a primer coat under: Tikkurila Valtti Plus Complete, Tikkurila Valtti Color Aqua, Tikkurila Valtti Opaque, Tikkurila Pika-Teho, Tikkurila Valtti Akvacolor, Tikkurila Everal Aqua Matt [10], Tikkurila Everal Aqua Semi Matt [40], Tikkurila Gloss [80].
