Finnfoam is a versatile thermal insulation made of extruded polystyrene, which is able to maintain its technical and insulating properties even in extreme conditions. Due to the uniform and closed cell structure, the building's heat properties are significantly improved. When using Finnfoam, there is no need for separate vapor or windproof insulation, so several construction stages can replace one, simpler solution. Finnfoam boards are completely resistant to mold. This is demonstrated by the most stringent resistance test carried out at the Research Center in Finland (VTT).
