Topcoat Tikkurila Argentum 20 Base A 2.7L

Special topcoat intended for painting walls and ceilings indoors requiring a high level of hygiene, including rooms with high humidity. Tikkurila Argentum 20 is suitable for use in rooms where high abrasion and wear resistance is required.
The paint contains active silver, which, while maintaining a high level of hygiene in the object, prevents the growth of bacteria on the painted coating. Tested in accordance with ISO 22196.

PROTECTION OF THE COATING AGAINST THE DEVELOPMENT OF BACTERIA, YEAST AND MOLD
Active silver contained in the paint prevents the growth of:

• Bacteria gram negative bacteria: Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pseudomonas stutzeri, Enterobacter cloacae, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae.
• Gram-positive bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Enterococcus faecium, Enterococcus faecalis.
• Antibiotic-resistant bacteria: MRSA, VRE, bacteria resistant to a variety of drugs Pseudmonas aeruginosa, bacteria resistant to vancomycin Enterococcus faecium.
• Yeast and molds: Candida glabrata, Candida albicans, Candida tropicalis, Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

COATING PROTECTION AGAINST MUSHROOM DEVELOPMENT

• Contains a fungicide that also protects the paint coating.

EXCELLENT COATING RESISTANCE

• The paint is resistant to washing with disinfectants used in hospitals. The list of funds is available on request.
• Highest wet scrub resistance according to SFS-EN 13300 Class I, ISO 11998.

Examples of use

Concrete, plasters, putty surfaces, bricks and surfaces of walls and ceilings made of various panels used in indoor construction. It can be used on new and previously painted surfaces. Painting drywall, gypsum and cement-lime plasters, decorative painting of concrete substrates, as well as for renovation of old paint.
