Classic 040 mineral wool mats in ECOSE® Technology are general purpose materials. They are intended for use as heat and sound insulation in horizontal constructions (e.g. thick-ribbed wooden ceilings, skeleton-transom constructions or skeletal constructions) laid between the beams of inter-story floors. The material can also be used in the construction of internal partition walls - wooden or metal skeleton, and in sloping roof constructions as inter-rafter and sub rafter insulation. Above rooms with high water vapor pressure (e.g. elevated temperature or high relative humidity) vapor barrier film should be used to protect the insulation material against permanent moisture.
